I use TripAdvisor to book excursions such as the Acatenengo Volcano Hike in Guatemala and the Inca Trail leading to Machu Picchu in Peru. It’s also great for traveler reviews, which help in choosing tours, hotels and restaurants. You can also
book your hotel through TripAdvisor. Travelers worldwide use the TripAdvisor site to discover where to stay, what to do, and where to eat, based on guidance from those who have been there before. I use the Guru Walk city tours to get acquainted with a new city, and it helps get me off the beaten path. Guru Walk has provided some of my best travel days to iconic landmarks such as the Pyramids in Egypt, where I had my own free personal guide for
the day. They aren’t entirely free as they work on tips, so be nice. Guru Walk is also great for cultural, historical, arts, and even food tours.
