My Backpack Checklist For My Trip Around The World
As I prepare for my second packing “dry run” I thought it would make sense to share my backpack checklist for my trip around the world. Full disclosure after my first attempt I realized that items had to go to make everything fit inside my carryon Osprey Farpoint 40 backpack. High level my packing list includes vlogging equipment, clothes (1 week’s worth), travel documents, toiletries and other can’t forget items such as my laptop, earbuds, beach towel and face masks. Traditionally I pack a lot when I travel for a week let alone a full year so packing light for this trip is a huge leap for me.
Here is the full list:
Clothes
- 7 t-shirts
- 7 pairs of socks (I’m all about the socks)
- 1 pair of jeans
- 7 pairs of underwear
- 1 bathing suit
- 2 pairs of shorts
- 2 dress shirts (1 long sleeve and 1 short sleeve)
- 3 hats including my Globedigger hat that I’ll be wearing most of the time
- 1 pair of nice shoes for nights out
Toiletries
- Toothbrush
- tooth paste
- deodorant
- A razor
- Shaving Cream
- Floss
- Imodium, antibiotics, Advil (essentials)
- Manscaped Crop Reviver and ball deodorant (Also acts as my cologne LOL)
Travel Documents
- Passport
- International Drivers Licence
- Printed flight and first nights accommodations
- Travel Insurance Policy (I used World Nomads)
- Covid and Yellow Fever vaccination certificates
- PCR test results
Vlogging equipment
- 2 iPhones
- Go Pro
- Tripods
- Lighting
